Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OverBot Discord bot ("the Bot") and the website located at overbot.net ("the Website"), collectively referred to as "the Service". By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age and have a valid Discord account to use the Service. By using OverBot, you represent that you meet these requirements.

The Service

OverBot is a Discord bot that provides Overwatch player statistics, esports tracking, community features, and related tools. The Website provides public information about the Bot, including commands, statistics, and documentation, as well as an authenticated dashboard where users can manage their profiles, customize settings, and view personal statistics.

The Service relies on third-party platforms and APIs, including Discord, Battle.net (Blizzard Entertainment), the OverFast API, and FACEIT. Availability and accuracy of features that depend on these services are subject to their uptime and data. We are not responsible for outages, data inaccuracies, or changes caused by third-party services.

Premium

OverBot offers optional Premium plans that unlock additional features: a monthly personal subscription and one-time lifetime purchases for a user or a server. All Premium plans are managed and billed entirely through Discord's monetization system.

  • Personal Monthly and Personal Lifetime purchases are tied to the Discord account they were bought for and are non-transferable, unless arranged through our support team
  • A Server Lifetime purchase applies to one server chosen by the buyer and includes a limited number of free transfers to another server; further transfers are arranged through our support team
  • Lifetime plans remain active for as long as OverBot offers Premium, unless the purchase is refunded
  • Refunds are handled by Discord in accordance with their refund policies
  • We reserve the right to modify Premium features, pricing, or availability at any time with reasonable notice

Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Abuse, exploit, or interfere with the Bot's functionality (e.g., automated spam, command flooding, or rate limit circumvention)
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Attempt to access or compromise the Bot's infrastructure, database, or private data without authorization
  • Use the Service in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harvest, collect, or scrape data from the Bot or Website without consent

Intellectual Property

The OverBot name, branding, source code, and website content are the property of OverBot. All rights reserved. Use of the name and branding requires explicit permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, OverBot makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

OverBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us through our Discord support server.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severance

If any provision of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
